We invite you on another introspective journey through the realms of ambient music. Lost Note is the sequel to *Ambient Soundscapes and the debut soundset by Danish ambient duo Lauge & Baba Gnohm. Together, they craft sounds that transport you to ethereal dimensions

The Artistic Journey of Lauge

Lauge has spent over two decades shaping his unique voice within the ambient genre. His melancholic and evocative soundscapes range from beatless drones to IDM and glitch, establishing him as a cornerstone of ambient music. His commitment to the craft is evident in every sound he creates.

Baba Gnohm: A Distinct Sonic Palette

Lauge’s counterpart, Baba Gnohm, brings his own distinct sonic palette. His contributions complement and enhance the duo’s artistic vision. Together, they fuse ambient and psybient sounds for Omnisphere 2, creating a mesmerizing auditory experience that is both refreshing and profound.

Introducing Lost Note

Lost Note builds on the ethos of its predecessor. It offers 101 Omnisphere presets, featuring slow-moving glitchy textures that evolve over time. You’ll also discover deep bass drones, spaced-out arpeggios, and more. This soundset includes drum kit multis for rhythmic exploration, granular lo-fi soundscapes with subtle imperfections, and some 90s-infused acid lines. These delicate anomalies create an intricate tapestry of sound.

The Magic in Sound

As with its predecessor, the magic of Lost Note unfolds in the lower key ranges. Here, the sounds reveal their full depth and complexity. The presets invite you to set the BPM below 60. Holding single notes in the low octaves allows the sounds to bloom and evolve over time. You will experience intricate layers, subtle movement, and evolving textures that captivate the mind and relax the spirit.

Drawing Inspiration

The duo draws inspiration from their own music and visionary artists of labels like Valley View Records, Spotted Peccary, and Ultimae Records. These artists embody the essence of modern ambient music. Their influence is palpable in every sound within Lost Note, making it a significant addition to your collection.

Installation Made Easy

Lost Note requires Omnisphere 2.8, ensuring users have the latest technology for the best experience. It includes a PDF for easy installation. All presets are categorized in official Spectrasonics categories and provide a few dB of headroom.

Seamless One-Click Installation

The included PDF ensures a seamless, one-click installation process, saving you time and effort. Check out the video below, which takes you through 16 presets from the set, followed by two demo tracks.
